JinkoSolar to provide NextEra Energy with solar modules, open manufacturing facility in Florida

NextEra Energy recently announced an agreement under which JinkoSolar will NextEra Energy with up to 2,750 megawatts of solar modules, approximately 7 million solar panels, over approximately four years.

In conjunction with this agreement, JinkoSolar will open its first U.S. factory in Jacksonville, Florida, which is expected to create approximately 200 direct jobs in Florida and support hundreds of additional local jobs in related industries.

Once fully operational, the factory is expected to have the capacity to build 400 megawatts of solar modules, more than one million solar panels each year.
