Agway Energy Services has added the state of Maryland to its service roster, which previously included New York and Pennsylvania.

Officials said for more than 20 years Agway Energy Services has provided natural gas, electricity supply, and energy-related services to New York and Pennsylvania customers in deregulated energy markets and will now offer natural gas in the Baltimore Gas & Electricity utility area and electricity in the Baltimore Gas and Electric, Potomac Electric Power Company and Potomac Edison areas.

“We are very excited to begin offering our unique protection program to the natural gas and electricity consumers in Maryland,” Michael A. Stivala, Agway Energy Services president and Chief Executive Officer, said. “Agway Energy has a long and proud history of providing our customers in New York and Pennsylvania with outstanding service quality and peace of mind through our EnergyGuard repair program. We look forward to demonstrating our unwavering commitment to the safety and comfort for the consumers in Maryland.”
