DTE Energy announced Monday that it will issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) regarding two energy-efficiency programs focused on multifamily homes and home energy consultations.

The Multifamily Scope of Work includes both in-unit and common area product direct installations, along with a common area rebate component. It provides a comprehensive income qualified component for properties that meet certain income requirements.

The Home Energy Consultation component is a more advisory program. It still pertains to direct install products but consists of a written report on the various energy efficiency products installed, along with additional ways customers can save money both within DTE’s program offerings and without.

The Scope of Work for the RFP will include marketing, program management, rebate processing, cooperation with trade allies and educational outreach events.
