GE Renewable Energy, ENGIE Impact partner to accelerate zero-carbon transition

Solutions and services company ENGIE Impact announced Wednesday that it had been chosen by GE Renewable Energy to help address efforts to reach a zero-carbon goal by 2020.

The partnership will strive to develop and leverage solutions towards the aggressive goal, including energy efficiency in GE Renewable Energy’s facilities worldwide and transitioning to 100 percent renewable electricity.

Merfeld said GE Renewable Energy would work with ENGIE Impact to ensure rollout at the speed and global scale the company requires, adding ENGIE Impact has what it takes to be a long-term partner to assist in reaching the goal.
