GE Renewable Energy to provide cybersecurity services to Invenergy’s wind turbine fleet
GE Renewable Energy and Invenergy recently signed an agreement under which GE will provide cybersecurity to Invenergy’s entire fleet of wind turbines and create a framework to add future wind farms to the network.

Wurldtech, a GE Company that focuses on cybersecurity, protecting operational technology and
information technology, will provide cybersecurity solutions and services for the project along with GE.
The agreement, which is worth more than $13 million over ten years, includes upgrading Invenergy’s legacy controls, upgrading and protecting their network security as well as software maintenance, updates, and patches for the duration of the ten-year term.
