The Los Angeles Business Journal named Coronal Energy as the third fastest growing company in the Great Los Angeles Area at private ceremony held last week.

Coronal Energy, which works in exclusive partnership with Panasonic, provides large-scale photovoltaic systems and other renewable energy solutions to public utilities, corporations, academia and other organizations throughout North America.

“We are proud to be part of the growing entrepreneurial business landscape in Los Angeles and for this recognition from the Los Angeles Business Journal,” Jonathan Jaffrey, the chairman and CEO of Coronal Energy, said. “The opportunities for growth and the wealth of talent in our community have contributed to our ongoing success. We look forward to being an active member of this vibrant business community in the future.”

Coronal Energy’s holdings currently include projects in 40 states with total generating capacity of 2.3 gigawatts (GW). The company also has more than 3.4 GW of greenfield and brownfield under construction or coming up.

“Solar is the country’s fastest-growing energy source and California is the nation’s leading state,” Jamie Evans, the managing director of the Energy Solutions Group at Panasonic Enterprise Solutions Company, said. “The Los Angeles Business Journal recognition is a testament to Coronal Energy’s role in Los Angeles County’s thriving economy and in driving the clean energy revolution across the United States.”
