The Central Hudson Gas & Electric Corp. board of directors welcomed IBM VP of Sales Transaction Support Kevin J. Cleary (Poughkeepsie) and Central Hudson President and CEO Michael L. Mosher (Red Hook) to the board on Monday, effective immediately.

“It is a pleasure to welcome Kevin and Mike to our board,” Board Chair Margarita K. Dilley said. “Their experience, business acumen and commitment to the local communities we serve will benefit our operations and our customers immensely. The Central Hudson board is focused on ensuring that the company delivers exceptional service, diligently manages expenses, and adds maximum value. Both Kevin and Mike will make important contributions to achieving those goals.”

He currently manages IBM’s Sales Support division in the Americas, and serves as a senior location executive at the company’s Poughkeepsie manufacturing and development facility. Cleary currently serves on the boards of the Vassar Brother Medical Center, the Poughkeepsie Alliance and the United Way of Dutchess-Orange.

Mosher has served Central Hudson for more than 30 years, beginning his career as a junior engineer, working his way up until his appointment of president and CEO in April. He currently serves on the boards of the State of New York Business Council, the SUNY New Paltz Foundation, and the Hudson Valley Economic Development Corporation.
