The American Council for an Energy-Efficient Economy (ACEEE) recently announced a restructuring of its leadership, which includes a new senior director for policy, federal policy manager and senior director
of marketing and communications.

Maggie Molina, who has been with ACEEE since 2005, was promoted to senior director for policy. She
will oversee the organization’s work in federal, state, and local policy as well as in utility regulatory
matters and be a part of its executive management team.

Pasha Majdi joins ACEEE as its new federal policy manager and will guide federal policy strategy through engagement with congressional and agency staff as well as other critical government entities and stakeholders. Prior to his new role, Pasha worked as professional staff on the US Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee for its ranking member and now chairman, Sen. Lisa Murkowski (R-AK).

“ACEEE stands out in Washington’s energy policy circle as a credible and independent source of technical expertise,” Majdi said. “I am excited to get started, tapping into the organization’s expertise to inform energy efficiency policy solutions that reduce energy waste and create economic growth.”

Wendy Koch became the organization’s senior director of marketing and communications and will serve on the executive management team with Molina.

“These new appointments allow us to better focus our energy efficiency policy expertise and outreach,” ACEEE’s Executive Director Steve Nadel said.
