The National Association of Regulatory Utility Commissioners (NARUC) Critical Infrastructure Committee recently launched an online portal designed to provide access to information related to critical infrastructure.

The committee presented the site during NARUC’s recent Summer Policy Summit in San Diego.

The Critical Infrastructure Resource Repository contains the critical infrastructure catalog, which includes survey data collected beginning in the fall of 2016 and represents information current through February 2017.

The catalog covers information on state public utility commission activities pertaining to critical infrastructure resilience, risk management publications, critical infrastructure resilience, exercises from the Homeland Security Exercise and Evaluation Program and a calendar with events and other relevant dates.

“Our committee is happy to provide these resources to state commissions,” Chair of the Critical Infrastructure Committee and New Jersey Board of Public Utilities President Richard Mroz, said. “Not only will the repository include a curated list of resources, there is practical information that allows states to enhance critical areas of physical and cyber security preparedness, response and recovery.”

Committee members will continue to update and add more resources to the site.
